My Background

Helen Roome specialises in helping business leaders and senior managers find more successful ways of working and  communicating with flair and imagination.  Her coaching and creative workshops improve business performance.

Helen has run her own business "Roome for Growth" since 1996 following 15 years in the food and petrochemical industries in the UK and overseas, advising senior management on organisational development strategy, performance management, and career development.  Prior to that she worked in sales and health care.  She has a bachelor degree in business economics and a Masters degree in Management Learning from Lancaster University.

She is also a founding director of SpeakersBank, a national network of trainers and speakers committed to working with people in the charitable and voluntary sector, to give a voice to the silent.

Helen is a frequent and inspirational speaker at conferences and is a past president of the Advanced Speakers Club of Toastmasters International. She doesn’t just teach it…she does it too!
